Rishikesh Monkeys

You see them in many parts of India but Rishikesh flourish everywhere like humans. The monkeys in this area of the Ganges are massive, have a long tail and black face, with a mane whiter than the rest of the body.Before, these animals lost civilization shyness and every day they go one step closer to the houses, to bars and restaurants, shops, markets. People are scared, and at one point its funny. But do not trust at all of the Rishikesh monkies. I came to go in the water in a small beach on the Ganges and in one hand I had a bag with leftovers from my picnic. I was distracted. I was coming to town when I felt 'something' , it violently snatched my bag.
