The views from Corbridge are gorgeous
When you talk about the River Tyne in England, people first associated it with the city of Newcastle (Newcastle-upon-Tyne) where the river meets the sea in the North of England (East Coast). Although there are impressive views, many local seem to ignore that this river crosses the Pennines, almost parallel to the famous Hadrian's Wall, which historically has a logical explanation as a water supply and other resources such as fisheries. The views from Corbridge are gorgeous, there are several walks along the countryside with beautiful views that this river has to offer in this area of Northumberland.
One of the most important views can be seen from the historic bridge, where two small natural islands offer more drama at the river (with snow the views are even more impressive). It makes sense that one of the major rivers and breadth of the country offers many interesting sights, this is just one of them.
