Rio Grande Nature Center State Park

The Rio Grande Nature Center State Park (Albuquerque) is 3 miles from downtown Albuquerque and the historic town center. In the midst of a forest canopy of 100 trees, the green ribbon of the river threads from north to south. This urban forest is a state park which opened in 1982.
