Hotel Rio Bidasoa

There aren’t many hotel options in Hondarribia (there are only four or five hotels) but, in general, they are all good quality hotels.

Personally I recommend this hotel to all travelers: its calm with a customer service that will make you feel at home, all the rooms and bathrooms are spacious, it has a good pool and a good restaurant…all the details are carefully taken care of. Moreover it has a great location (five minute walk from the pinchos main street) and it is exactly in front of the old part of Hondarribia. I went to the Bidasoa Hotel with a friend the first time we visited Hondarribia, and we couldn’t have chosen a better place to stay and relax during our visit.

Besides its privileged location inside the municipality (close to the center), the bedrooms are spacious and comfortable, the garden and pool are ideal for refreshing and relaxing, and the breakfast and dinner are really spectacular.

I would also highlight the staff service, which will make you feel at home. In my opinion, the restaurant deserves a visit even if you don’t lodge in the hotel, since it is one of Hondarribia’s best places for dinner.
