Ribeira Beach

This beach is located at the beginning of the Bayonne waterfront, at the foot of the ramparts of the fortress of Monterreal and it also faces the marina and the yacht club. It has a length of 170 meters and it is a totally urban beach. Its situation is quite sheltered from the wind and it has a moderate swell. In summer season you can rent some sunbeds and umbrellas, and they are always under surveillance. The sand there is fine and gold-colored, and due to its cleaning it has the Blue Flag. On the opposite side of the peninsula of Monte Boi is the Frades beach.
