Riad Tanja Hotel

Riad Tanja is located in the Tangier medina and is a great place to stay or even just eat. It's tucked away on Rue du Portugal in the old media and is worth visiting for the decor alone (carpets, fountains, terraces and Moorish courtyards). The dining room is decorated in bright red and the riad has a lovely terrace with great views of the medina and the Strait of Gibraltar. The rooms are all on the upper floor and are luxuriously decorated with traditional paintings and carvings from the Tangier area. The rooms are between 75 and 100 euros per night.
