From farm to table.
From the farm straight to your table. That's the philosophy behind Retrogusto and it shows in their dishes. The cool climate of Boquete is ideal for agriculture and Retrogusto knows how to play to its strengths. The restaurant puts a heavy emphasis on community, sustainability, and fresh locally-sourced produce and then gives them a light, respectful touch with an Italian and Mediterranean twist. The tomatoes, for example, are grown in the restaurant's garden and the pastas, meats, and fish dishes expertly utilize local ingredients like the mamón chino.
