Food and service were exquisite
The chain of coffee shop-restaurants of UBC Coffee comes from Japan, but has many locations in several Asian countries, especially in China. It's a little more expensive than a normal Chinese restaurant, but it's still cheap. You can enjoy a la carte dinner for about 10-12 euros/person. This trip I had dinner at one of the UBC Coffees in TianJin. The food and service were exquisite, and the place was decorated for Chinese New Year. So, you know, if you are in China and I want a rest from oriental food, these sites can be a good alternative.
