An Tigh Seinnse

If there is one pub that epitomizes the spirit of the people of Portnahaven, it's Tigh An Seinnse. It's a small, traditional pub with open fireplaces and with a strong maritime character. At first you might think that it's just a local pub, somewhere to grab a few pints and a bag of chips or cold sandwich. Nothing is further from the truth. We found that the pub is run by an Englishman who went to the island to work but became so enamored with the place that he ended up staying and took over this pub from its original owner. The pub no has a great menu and an impressive selection of beers and whiskies.
