Justo al lado del hotel donde me hospedo, el Seaview Sandakan está este restaurante llamado Zakaria IV, pequeño, la mitad de los que se encuentran en la calle principal y quizás algo más rústico, pero también con un menú variado y sobre todo para los que comen carnes y pescado, menos para los vegetarianos. Está enfrente del Mercado Central de la ciudad, y por ello, son clientes muchos de los que trabajan en él. Comida típicamente malaya, aquí no hay fusión con la cocina India, como en otros que he visitado y he presentado en Minube, también más económico que estos, si cabe, que ya de por sí para un extranjero son baratos. Aquí puedes comer un plato combinado por 1-1,5€ que te deja satisfecho. También el horario es más reducido, esta abierto desde las 5.40am y cierra a las 4.30pm.
