Local Texan wine!
After five years spending the summer in this part of Texas, I thought the only good places to eat where the King Ranch or the local BBQ joints. I had heard about Grape Juice and never gave it much of a though, but I finally went and I loved it! The concept of Grape Juice is a beer and wine tasting bar where you can also get simple meals that are based on traditional flavors but generally have a modern twist. The sophisticated-chic decor is uncommon in the Hill Country and the shelves of wines in the windows keep the sun out so the interior is nice and intimate.
The interior is dominated by the large bar offering 20 different beers and wine from around the world. If you're doubtful about which wine to order, go for a local Texan wine! The line-up of beers and wines on offer changes regularly, but I had an absolutely delightful Texan white. On the menu, they offer everything from soups and salads to warps and pasta to fish and meat. They have an outdoor terrace outback which is decorated with Christmas lights hung from the trees.
