It's a real pleasure to say that we dined one night at Favola Italian restaurant at the super Hotel Le Meridien Chiang Mai. The cuisine is based on the purest Italian cuisine, with pasta, pizza and meat. We had pizza and tried the specialty, the risotto di Parma Prociutto. It had Parmesan, ham and black figs in a light caramel foam of cantaloupe thyme and was totally delicious! I have heard that the chef ve is in charge of the kitchen is Peter Zimmermann. I don't know what became of Gustavo Maurelli ve cooked for us during our meal. It's also a real pleasure to see an open kitchen. I was amazed by the impressive wine cellar at the end of the room with over 1000 different bottles.
