This is definitely the most traditional place in Madrid. The food is just exquisite, all homemade, and some of the best I tried in Spain. I should add that one of the proprietors, Carlos, gave me a tour of the place, it's like a museum! The restaurant where they cook the cochinillo and, well, everything else, is just as it was in the 18th century. The service was unbeatable.
Madrid is one of Toro y Moi's favorite European cities. Since Minube is based out of Madrid, I'm sure most of you reading this already know about the hot spots in this city. One of the best times we had on a European tour was hanging out in a city square drinking chino beer with friends. Eating an entire conchinillo with friends at Botin is a worthwhile experience if you have some cash to spend, but there are plenty of cheaper food options available. We also like the creepy baby guy in Plaza Mayor. Shouts out to the churro places too.
