Magical town
Santiago Nuevo León, is one of many magical towns of Mexico. Visit it and you will realize why. Off the main square there is a hotel and it's restaurant, las palomas de Santiago (Formerly Hotel St. James) It is rustic and elegant, with an antique and simple ambiance, that not just to unwind but to rest your soul. The restaurant's cuisine is Mexican with a northern accent, well seasoned food and folkloric and picturesque decor is nice without being too loud. Leaving the restaurant, you will find the St. James Parish, more than 260 years old, with a mix of baroque and neoclassical styles. It is situated on high on a rocky mountain that you currently have to use stairs with a very steep slope to get there.
