a unique experience

The Tiger Jump trek starts a bit touristy, but is a unique experience, walking down the Yangtze River Gorge, in the pre-tibet area. It usually starts from Lijiang, to Quiatou, and after trekking you visit Zhongdian, now called Shangri-la by the Chinese that take advantage of the sudden tourism with this mythical name. It can be done in 2/3 days, the accommodation is very basic for families, and it is almost impossible to find someone who speaks good English.
