On a cold, frozen, icy night in January, I found this corner of Munich. The Isar River is normally flowing cheerfully but that night it was extremely quiet, almost eerie. The tower is that of the Deutsche Museum, a private museum dedicated to German engineering. The building is illuminated and forms a backdrop for the Bavarian parliament.
