Ideal for losing yourself
Almost without wanting to, while making the most of our visit to La Palma’s Acropark, we found the Pilar vantage point. It was a great place to randomly stumble upon. The views at sunset were breathtaking.
It’s truly something you can’t miss out on if you visit La Palma. You have to go up to one of the many lookout points and enjoy the views at sunset. They’re magical. The higher up you go, the better!
We took advantage of heading up during the afternoon. We went looking for a strategic place to spend the last remaining house of sunlight. And, like a said, without knowing, found the Pilar lookout point.
The landscapes are shocking, especially on a clear day like the one we had, with clouds off in the distance.
The descent is also amazing (it doesn’t matter which side you go down). Make sure to bring you camera, it’s an ideal place for any photographer!
