Cambodian tradition
Greetings travelers. In the Old Market district, there's a local craft store with objects of all kinds. Most importantly, it is a non-profit company with the sole purpose of providing several villages with the means to survive. This property also has branches in the capital Phnom Penh and Sihanoukville and are now recognized by renowned publications such as Lonely Planet or New York Times. In this place they work silk, stone, ceramics and jewelry. You'll find all postcards and envelopes made from recycled paper. Currently these products are exported to other countries in fair trade. They are made using traditional techniques passed down from generation to generation.
Open every day from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm except Sundays open from 10:30 am to 5:00 pm. A visit to any of these centers will enable you to learn a little more about the culture of this country, especially if you buy something you know is intended for the poor. If you are in Siem Reap visit Rajana. A greeting.
