Avant de redescendre directement vers la rue de la Ronda qui s'étale en contre-bas du boulevard 24 de mayo, on marquera une pause sur la plateforme qui délimite ledit boulevard et la partie basse du quartier historique de Quito, pour admirer un peu la vue sur la ville. Un bois orphelin au milieu des bâtisses et des maisons qui s'étendent à perte du vue au pied des collines qui entourent la capitale, voilà le panorama qui nous attend ici.
