Quirinópolis

I arrived in Quirinópolis from Brasilia on March 11. I arrived after an 8-hour busride, yet I liked it from the first moment. Its small and quiet, but it has two universities, and therefore there is a young student population that frequents the bars and street parties. The following pictures show the city center, with its bars, churches, banks and tree lined avenues. There is a high red sandstone cliff 6 km from the center of which local fans of paragliding takeoff. Quirinópolis is a small town and municipality in southern Goiás state, Brazil.
