Quail Hill Loop

Quail Hill Loop is an easy 1.8-mile hike in Irvine’s Quail Hill Preserve. It’s perfect for anyone who wants to embark on a laid back trail AND for those who have dogs! It’s the only trail in Irvine that allows you to bring dogs along, but of course you’ll have to pick up after any nuisances. It’s a dirt trail that’s nearly entirely flat, except for a little bit of incline near the Vista Point, which is located pretty close by if you take the trail clockwise. (P.S. You get a cool view of the 405 freeway along the trail and at Vista Point!) Although this is easy, it can be tiring to complete when the sun is high because there is no shade.
