Quai Des Marques

I don't usually like to visit malls when traveling. But I made an exception for the Quai des Marques because of one reason: I was struck by the old port warehouses along La Garonne river, which have been turned into an outlet shopping center. The brands are well known: Le Creuset (French, kitchenware), Calvin Klein, Bo Concept (contemporary furniture), Du Pareil au Même (French childrenswear) as well as others. If you like to go shopping, stop by because it's worth. The space is really nice, very careful restoration of what was a degraded area. The river is always present (a privilege) and there are restaurants and flirty cafes to hace a pleasant break in between purchases.
