La Plaza Puskás Öcsi es una de las más importantes de la zona de Óbuda, en el extremo norte de Budapest. En el año 2003, el alcalde de la localidad y la viuda del famoso futbolista húngaro Ferenc Puskás inauguraron una escultura dedicada al más famoso deportista del país. La obra consiste en una estatua de cuerpo completo de Puskás enseñando a jugar fútbol a tres niños pequeños. Ferenc Puskás ha pasado a convertirse en uno de los símbolos de Hungría, especialmente después de la caída del comunismo en 1989.
Además de la escultura del futbolista, en la plaza se encuentran varios restaurantes pequeños y puestos de comida rápida. Ya que se encuentra en la intersección entre las avenidas “Bécsi út” y la peatonal “Csemege utca”, el sitio es un popular punto de encuentro para los residentes de Óbuda. Además, el mobiliario entero del lugar fue renovado recientemente, y hoy en día tanto las bancas como el pequeño jardín central se encuentran siempre en óptimo estado.
