a beautiful and renovated Mapuche museum
Puren village is in the Nahuelbuta mountain range, in Puren valley which stands out for it's nature. It's origins are naturally Mapuche as the village has that name because the Indians that lived there were purenes, whose chieftains fought up to today to not be dominated by other races including the Spanish. It's a noble village as the Spanish is strong and there's a beautiful and renovated Mapuche museum where the staff are highly capable to attend to the tourists every day. There are many places in the village to eat food, from Chilean to Italian, since the village was colonized by many Italian, French, Swiss and Turkish families,
in short, everything which creates major colonies that make people take a look at international-native, with respect to the native.
