Punta Silla Lighthouse

From the Sanctuary of La Barquera, just outside the Old Puebla towards Asturias, follow the road up for 1 km to reach Punta Silla lighthouse. It's an old lighthouse, now abandoned, which is preparing to host the Artisan and Folkloric Museum of the Sea. Built in 1871 to warn mariners of the proximity of the coast, the building consists of a square prismatic masonry tower 9 meters tall, the old lighthouse keeper's house is attached. From the lighthouse there are amazing views of the whole village, the bay, the beach and the cliffs.
