Stunning natural beauty
In the heart of Valle de Lerma, in the province of Salta, Argentina, this is man-made reservoir, the second biggest in Argentina. It's 45 km long, and condors nest on one of its hills (El Fuerte). You can sometimes see them flying near the top. Vehicles are prohibited, so you'll have to walk. You can see some ancient paintings by Guachipa Indians, and because the area is so far the roads, the natural surroundings are truly stunning.
