Puez Odle Natural Park

Lo straordinario scenario del Parco naturale Puez-Odle ricopre di verde le dolomiti di Gardena. Quest'area fu dichiarata protetta nel 1978 e da allora è diventata una meta fissa per gli amanti del trekking. La nostra esperienza fu di puro relax! Come potete immaginare, la varietà di flora e fauna è impressionante. È molto facile trovarsi di fronte qualche animale selvatico, per non parlare delle mucche che pascolano liberamente. Vi sono poi diversi rifugi che danno ristoro agli escursionisti, oltre che... banda larga. Lungo i vari percorsi è possibile trovare tabelle informative. Come leggerete in giro, queste sono proprio le valli in cui nacque e crebbe Reinhold Messner.

The stunning scenery of the Puez-Geisler covers of green Dolomites Gardena. This area was declared protected in 1978 and since then has become a regular destination for hikers. Il parco Puez Odle racchiude le montagne appartenenti alle dolomiti di Gardena. L'accesso principale è da Selva Val Gardena attraverso una stradina che conduce ad un grande parcheggio dove si può lasciare l'auto per incamminarsi lungo i sentieri. I paesaggi sono sublimi soprattutto dalle vette più alte. All'interno del parco, oltre alle numerose specie di piante e fiori, vivono anche molti animali come il capriolo, il cervo, il gufo reale, il marasso ed il tritone alpino più altre specie meno comuni. Il parco naturale si trova in Alto Adige ed è assolutamente consigliato agli amanti del trekking.

The park encompasses the Puez Odle mountains belonging to the Dolomites Gardena. The main access is from Selva Val Gardena through a small road that leads to a large parking lot where you can leave the car to walk along the trails. The scenery is sublime especially from the highest peaks. Inside the park, in addition to numerous species of plants and flowers, live many animals such as roe deer, deer, eagle owl, the adder and the Alpine newt plus other less common species. The nature park is located in South Tyrol and is absolutely recommended for trekking lovers.
