Puerto de Hamar

One of the best ways to travel between places which are near Lake Mjosa is by boat. Here we are in the Port of Hamar, from where you can board a boat to go to other places like Gjovik, Moelv or Lillehammer. From the Port of Hamar you have the opportunity to board the world's oldest running steamboat which is called the DS Skibladner, This ship, today, has become the boat of pilgrimage for all those travelers who are doing the Way of Nidaros. Hamar is one of the points of interest on this route, and its port has become the point of entry for pilgrims, and for those who are interested in getting to know one of the four largest cities in Norway.
