A natural harbor that has adapted to changing times
Although mainly for the fishing fleet of El Campello, the conditioning, modernization and adaptation of this port arrived 'late'. The truth is that today it is quite a tourist attraction and a place to walk at any time of year. It has also sparked a growing interest in sports among both locals and visitors. In fact, my son was a 'reputed pirate' with the summer kids activities run by the Yacht Club. Curiously, the fact that it was a natural harbor motivated the construction of the symbol of El Campello - the Tower of Illeta (la Torre de la Illeta).
