Built during the Great Depression, it was opened to the public in 1940 and has been converted into one of the city's icons. As far as I could read, but I can't confirm it, you can climb the bridge with a tour in just over two hours, but knowing the price of crossing the Sydney Bridge like this, I didn't dare to ask how much.
