Pucatrihue

Caleta y balneario ubicada en la costa de Osorno, Chile, distante a 68 km de la ciudad de Osorno; y conectados por camino pavimentado. Presenta una cautivante naturaleza con gran potencialidad turística, formada por bosques y los atractivos de su costa, como son la presencia de una gran playa que se caracteriza por presentar dos ríos en sus extremos; el río Contaco en el extremo sur y en el extremo norte el río Choroy-Traiguén (o río Llesquehue), en el cual este último forma un estuario que se cierra y abre dependiendo de la marea y del flujo del río. En verano es posible realizar en estos ríos travesías de canotaje, que llevan al navegante desde tierra firme hacia la desembocudura con el mar, atravesando en el trayecto hermosos bosques inexplotados. La playa presenta sectores autorizados para bañarse, en otras partes la marea y la resaca son peligrosas. La pesca y la recolección de mariscos constituye la principal actividad económica de los habitantes estables de esta zona. Dentro de estos últimos ha destacado la explotación del loco (también conocido internacionalmente como chilean abalone, abalón chileno o concholepa). Un dato pintoresco es que en el mar, frente a la playa, se puede observar un grupo de islas rocosas con escasa vegetación, en la cual existe una pequeña colonia de pingüinos patagónicos. Un buen lugar donde hospedarse es la residencial Inalcar, atendida por su dueña. La ubicación de la residencial es privilegiada, con una vista inmejorable.

Es un parque de juegos que recorre la Rivera del Río Rahue por ambos lados y que une a través de un puente colgante dos sectores de Osorno llamados Ovejeria y Rahue. Es un lugar ideal para llevar a los niños en toda época del año ya que cuenta con diferentes tipos de juegos infantiles como columpios,canopi, entre otros.
