The Museum of Fine Arts is located in the center of the city, right next to the Hermitage of Soledad and the building known as La Giralda. The exhibits are housed in two buildings, one in front of the other (plans are in the works to add a third), and the works are ordered chronologically from the 16th century until the present. The museum displays painting and sculptures from Spanish and international artists like Luis de Morales, Zurbarán, and Caravaggio, and puts a special emphasis on artists from Extremadura.
Given that one of the buildings is a renovated palace from the 19th century, you can also admire the decoration and furnishing of the building itself.
