Presule Castle

Il bellissimo castello di Presule si trova in Alto Adige fra le Dolomiti dello Scilliar ed infatti, nonostante sia situato in località Presule dalla quale prende il nome, si trova sotto il comune di Fiè allo Scilliar. Il castello è stato costruito in stile gotico e risale al XVI secolo. Talvolta viene citato come Castel Colonna perché furono italianizzati i nomi tedeschi degli antichi proprietari. Al suo interno il castello custodisce varie collezioni: quadri, armi... ed alcune sale ancora ben conservate insieme a certi affreschi particolarmente caratteristici. Il castello non è sempre aperto, ma soprattutto durante la stagione estiva vengono organizzati eventi ed anche visite in notturna! The beautiful castle of Bishop is located in South Tyrol in the Dolomites of Scilliar and in fact, despite being located in the village of Prelate from which it takes its name, is located in the municipality of Fie allo Scilliar. The castle was built in Gothic style and dates back to the sixteenth century. It is sometimes referred to as Castel Colonna because they were Italianised German names of the former owners.
