Prayer Room (Sidi Okba Mosque)

Access to non-Muslims and tourists in general is prohibited, however, the doors are normally kept open (except during the hour of prayer) so it's possible to admire the interior whiling standing outside. The prayer room of Mosque Sidi UKBA is located at the southern end of the courtyard. The first thing you notice is its huge beautiful door, decorated with studs and carved panels. Inside the room is also huge and majestic, housing 17 aisles separated by rows of columns, and the floor is covered entirely by rugs.
