Praia do Sono

Praia do Sono (Sleepy Beach) is a fishermen village neighboring the summer conodos of wealthy Laranjeiras, exposing Brazil's shocking social contrast. It is only accessible on foot and has a very pleasant freshwater waterfall.

It is possible to hike all of the deserted beaches on a full 3-day hiking and camping trip around the peninsula just south of historical Paraty town. These pictures were taken during my third time doing it.
