Praia de Santo Antonio

One of my favorite beaches in Isla Grande is the Playa de Santo Antonio. In addition to being beautiful, it's always empty - which is incredible when you consider that it's right next to the crowded Lopes Mendes beach. But few people know about this one, because of its difficult accessibility. The beach has fine sand, clear water, shade, and good areas for snorkeling and surfing. The most common way to get here is on foot; there are no boat trips to Santo Antonio. Take the T11 road to get there, and the right turning before Lopes Mendes. Don't miss it!
