One of Almuñecar's most picturesque corners is definitely Pozo de Calle Nueva, a small, flower-lined plaza with a well in the old town. The gorgeous tile work, flowers, and placards of the local Virgin against whitewashed walls is a quintessentially Mediterranean sight.
