Powązki Cemetery
Powązki Cemetery was established November 4, 1790 and was consecrated May 20, 1792, it initially covered only 2.5 ha. The catacombs were built before. Soon after, other cemeteries were founded in the area: Jews, Calvinist, Lutheran, Caucasian and Tatar. The Orthodox cemetery isn't far away. Military burials are in the same place, my intention was to see it, but at 4 pm in winter, in Warsaw, it's dark, so I didn't see anyone and scared me a bit, especially after taking a picture and looking into the camera and seeing a strange shadow, so I got out of there as fast as I could!
