Pousada de Elvas Hotel
The bed and breakfast hotel, was opened in 1942. The Santa Luzia Pousada was the first of the pousadas to be opened in Portugal, and is an exquisite example of typical Alentejo architecture. Today it offers customers all types of amenities, but the best here is Alentejo cuisine, especially cod, golden goldenfish, or the famous dishes of pork marinated in coriander. It is located in a traditional building with typical architecture of the Alentejo area, it is surrounded by palm trees and located in Elvas. The rooms are decorated in local style.
