Small fishing town on the Great Ocean Road

A small and interesting fishing town on the Great Ocean Road. The main activity of the town is fishing, as such it is a great place to eat fresh fish at a great price. We also recommend you try the local oysters, which are delightful and well priced. In Port Fairy you get the feeling that life is really good; the weather is mild, all the houses are really beautiful and each and every one of them has its own boat moored at individual docks.

Petite bourgade côtière située juste avant le début de la Great Ocean Road, dans le sud de l'Etat de Victoria, Port Fairy est un tranquille village de pêcheurs où il fait bon flâner le long des quais. Il y a aussi une petite balade sympathique qui part du port et qui rejoint le phare à l'embouchure du canal. Ne loupez pas le "fish and chips" qui se trouve le long du canal dans le centre du village : il y a une raison pour laquelle la file d'attente est aussi longue, c'est parceque c'est super bon !

Small coastal town located just before the start of the Great Ocean Road, in the southern state of Victoria, Port Fairy is a quiet fishing village where you can stroll along the waterfront. There is also a nice little walk from the port and joined the lighthouse at the mouth of the channel. Do not miss the "fish and chips" which is along the canal in the center of the village there is a reason why the queue is so long is because it's super good!
