Popoff

On the side of a "hidden path" in Antwerp is the Popoff. Since 1985, it's served both savory dishes like quiches and salads, and a lot of cakes, all homemade, and some sweets. Some of them are served throughout the year, while others are seasonal, as the ingredients change. Options include key lime pie, chocolate and cappuccino, cheesecake, caramel, strawberry meringue, pear. The location couldn't be better: the charming Oude Koornmarkt, near Grote Markt square and the cathedral, an old house with retro decor. You can eat inside or at tables on the terrace, watching passers-by.
