Plaza del Conde
When you enter into the old walled city of Ciudad Rodrigo by the Puerta del Conde, the first thing you find, on the right, is the Plaza del Conde. It is a large square just for pedestrians, labelled with an "L", and the aesthetic appeal of the historic sites there is incredible. There you will find the Palace of the Count of Alba de Yeltes (eighteenth century), the Palace of the Tiedra and Avila (aka Castro Palace or Palace of the Count of Montarco, sixteenth), and Moctezuma's Palace or House of Cornejo (the XV, which houses the Cultural and Municipal Library).
