Playa Mansa

Punta del Este is an amazing place for a getaway. The city has a lot of fun things to do, it's very peaceful and there are great restaurants, shops and stately mansions surrounded by woods and rustic corners. It's sophisticated. Some areas are very calm and other areas seem to never sleep at all. Being located on a large peninsula, Punta del Este has two very long sandy coasts that are very different from one another: The Brava and Mansa. The Brava has a sea full of waves and there's usually a strong wind in the afternoon. The Mansa, however, is a peaceful haven. Thousands of Punta del Este vacationers start the day at La Brava and later move to La Mansa in the afternoon.
