Cable Beach

El estar tan cerca del Centro de Marbella, hace que esta playa esté bastante concurrida en verano de turistas alojados en los hoteles del centro. La playa no es muy grande, de unos 500 metros de largo por unos 50 de ancho, la arena es un tanto oscura ( no hay que olvidar que su nombre se debe al cable que la cruzaba que transportaba el mineral hasta los cargueros). Podemos encontrar aparcamiento en la zona del Puerto y si quieres comer hay varios chiringuitos como el [poi=199061]Chiringuito El Cable[/poi] o bien las tabernas que hay en el Puerto Pesquero

Being so close to the center of Marbella makes this beach is quite busy in summer tourists staying in downtown hotels. Vivo enfrente de esta playa desde que tenia cuatro meses. La veo cada mañana cuando me despierto y cada noche cuando me acuesto y es una belleza indescriptible. En verano es como cualquier otra playa, aun peor, puede, pero en invierno yo creo que es mágica...La marea cubre casi toda la arena y la olas jamás paran de moverse, cuando llueve es un paisaje sombría pero, para mi representa una belleza mucho mas verdadera. Cuando la miro desde mis ventanas, me pierde en lo indescriptible de ese paisaje gris.

I live across from this beach since I was four months. I see it every morning when I wake up and every night when I lie down and indescribably beautiful. In summer it is like any other beach, even worse, you can, but in winter I think it's magical ... Muy amplia y dotada de servicios públicos, (modulo de aseos, duchas, puesto de socorro) y tres chiringuitos. Además tiene habilitada una zona con barcas para poder realizar moraga, barbacoas gratuitas con autorización previa municipal. Además tiene zona amplia de aparcamiento.
