Playa Chac Mool

This beautiful beach with turquoise water and white sand is at kilometer 10 of the Cancun hotel zone. It's in a fairly open zone, sometimes the surf is strong, and there are so many streams in the area that water skiing and parasailing are widely practiced. The official hours of this public beach are from 8:00 to 18:00, during which there is monitoring and beach shacks.
