The Amazon, a way of life
To understand the way of life for people who live in the Amazon, I recommend living for a while with an indigenous community. Or if we have little time and want some comfort, we can stay on a floating platform on the river. I stayed three days on a floating platform from Green Planet Tours, 4 hours sailing from Manaus in the typical Amazon boat, and it was an unforgettable experience.
