Plantations of Lombok

Most of the bars here close for the Muslim festivals. This must be borne in mind if you arrive at the time of Ramadan, as you will find many sites closed. Moreover, most of the hotels are somewhat outside of Mataram and to get to them sometimes you have to travel on roads that are not recommended for night riding .. Much less after you have tried the local beer or other liquor. This is why almost all the sightseeing and fun are usually done during the day; markets, pottery workshops and some other temples (although there are none in neighboring Bali), but undoubtedly the best views are those of the plantation fields and hiking trails ..
