Plaiaundi Ecological Park
This is an ecological park of marshes and lagoons consisting of 3 small islands, where many birds live or pass through. In the Interpretation Centre, you will find photos and lots of information about the behavior of birds. Outside, you can take a simple journey of approximately 1 hours duration. Kids will love it, especially hiding in the stands to watch the birds, or climbing the observatory towers, from where you can watch planes land or take off from the airport of San Sebastian (Hondarribia). It is a very pleasant walk (with beautiful views of Hondarribia and Hendaye), apart from all the noise as airplanes and trains go past.
You then have to pray silently that it doesn't disturb the birds!
