GERARD DECQ
Idyllic location
The Carthaginians wisely chose the promontory near Pula Beach, Sardinia for their settlement, Nora. These days, Nora is in ruins (and worth visiting) but my favorite part is the little cove nearby. There’s a Christian Basilica right next to the sea and mountains in the background, all of which makes for an especially beautiful view. The city of Pula is a resort town full of luxury villas and a quiet downtown area. It’s charming but busy in summer.
