La Place Notre-Dame à Villefranche de Rouergue est toujours bordée d'arcades comme au temps de la bastide. Mais une récente rénovation lui a donné comme un miroir d'eau bordelais, une fontaine qui, jumelée au carillon de la cathédrale voisine, change ses jets en sonnant les heures.
Cette fontaine peut devenir invisible si on a besoin d'une "place sèche", mais c'est un enchantement d'être là pour assister au changement d'heure.
Place Notre Dame in Villefranche de Rouergue is still lined with arcades as in the days of the fortified. But a recent renovation has given him as a Bordeaux water mirror, a fountain, combined with the bells of the neighboring cathedral, changes its jets striking the hours. This fountain can become invisible if you need a "dry up", but it is a delight to be there to attend to the time change.
